Zipher is built by Atmosphere Labs LLC. This policy explains what data the Zipher mobile app collects, how it is used, and your rights.

What we collect

Nothing. Zipher is a non-custodial wallet. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, wallet keys, addresses, balances, transaction history, or usage analytics.

How the app works

• Your seed phrase and private keys are generated and stored exclusively on your device in platform-secured storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).
• The app connects directly to public Zcash lightwalletd servers to synchronize blockchain data. These servers see your IP address but not your viewing keys, addresses, or transaction details.
• For multi-chain features (EVM, Polymarket), the app connects to public RPC endpoints and third-party APIs. No personal identifiers are sent.
• No analytics SDKs, trackers, or telemetry are included in the app.

Data stored on device

• Encrypted seed phrase (platform secure storage)
• Wallet database (transaction history, synced blocks)
• User preferences (theme, network settings)

All data remains on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all local data. If you lose your seed phrase, your funds are unrecoverable — we cannot help recover them because we never have access.

Third-party services

The app communicates with:

• Zcash lightwalletd servers (block sync)
• EVM RPC providers (multi-chain balance and transactions)
• CoinGecko API (price data)
• Polymarket API (prediction market data)

These services may log IP addresses per their own privacy policies. Zipher does not send personal identifiers, wallet addresses, or viewing keys to any third party.

Permissions

• Internet — required for blockchain synchronization
• Camera — QR code scanning for payment addresses (only when you initiate it)
• Biometrics — optional, for unlocking the app

Children

Zipher is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL.
